Day 4 The sweet smell of mediocrity

So Ulysses wins this war with all these crazy greek people, right. Fighting dudes a couple hundred years of development away from those 300 guys in battles so fierce that achilles can't handle it. One of his challenges along the arduous journey he faced after the trojan war was sitting on this island with flowers that make you content. His crew was falling asleep from these flowers for days just eating the flowers and sleeping. Chilling instead of continuing on in the journey that will, no doubt, present series of life challenging trials.

With this whole planning thing somedays, like today, feels like I'm on that island. I already know what I'm doing next week on the quiz, and I know what I did yesterday, I could just sort of stretch out the yesterday stuff for a little longer and then kill time or make up some cockamamie review exercise to fill the time til the quiz. Its tempting to do this, but I can't becuase its making me a poorer teacher.

Observation is in two days. I see two outcomes

a. I rock it and they act like I did so poor that they want me to leave.
b. I rock it and they and they acknowledge my brilliance by saying very little and
speaking in short, bitingly positive statements about next year.
