By the end of this summer I should be able to say that I have stepped foot in each one of the 48 states. I have been through everything east of the mississippi as well as texas missouri arkansas oklahoma, arizona, minnesota, nevada and california. So this summer I intend to see iowa, both the dakotas (or at least one) the whole mountainous northwest utah, colorado, and maybe, just maybe nebraska and kansas.
Heres the plan so far
July 1. begin the drive from New York city to portland oregon
July14-16. Attend wedding of the gentleman who recieved runner up in the Edward Forty Hands competition
July 17-22. Southern California
July 22. Leave for arizona
I don't really know here
July 28. Maybe be back in new york

Colorado in July is the answer to your missing week. You've got a bedroom to crash and a tour-guide who is going to be quite enthusiastic about his state as he will be leaving it shortly after your departure.
