Fitting Funeral
The teacher who was killed had her funeral service yesterday. 1100 people came to the funeral including most of the high school faculty and staff. There were musical acts from her high school band instructor, and her musician friends from college. There was alot of emotional moments and it was very sad. There is no real happy ending as much of the staff was still very sad today, and some people had to take a few days off of work. But the funeral served as a point of departure, like the point where the grieving stops and the moving on starts. It's still nuts to think how fragile life can be, I was drinking with her three weeks ago, she was only four years older than me. Such is life, I guess.
