Summer of Fortitude Epilogue
Its still a month away from the first day teachers have to report back to school, but my summer is already about as over as it could be. In the first month I have mannaged to create a summer full of so much fortification, I'm afraid that I might have to start installing cannons. I've visited 7 new states, and in the case of a lucky group of states we had some very magical encounters. For montana, wyoming, washington, and utah my visits consisted of magical drives from one border to another with only the briefest of stops to, fill, (ahem) and empty, the tank (thats how you use figurative language for your amateurs out there). The other three states involved drunken games of kickball, drunken bicycle riding, and drunken marrying of people. Now that I am back in bloomfield I can get to the relaxing part of summer, surely to begin with a visit to my uncles house, for my brothers bachelor party. And I'm glad, a nice family gathering will be like a cool glass of water to a hungover former partygoer, unless this bachelor party turns into some sort of drunken debauchery, but I doubt that will be the case. Will everybody else might be drunk, but I am pretty sure I have the tolerance of an old sailor and wouldn't be surprised if I have to take a break during the evening to flawlessly performing an appendectomy with a leatherman, a pair of shoelaces, a bottle of vodka (for disenfecting), and a bottle of guinness (for the post-surgery carbomb).
