Stephen Colbert White House Speech

Dude just made fun of the president to his face for the better part of a half hour. Considering that that is his job on a daily basis, it isn't that surprising. But the fact that he did it in person infront of all those washington people, is impressive.

Here's part one
And the fact that he kept making fun of the president and the whole administration despite it seeming painfully akward is even more impressive

Here's part two

However he made a corny little piece not really worth watching to end the whole thing out

yo dude that colbert thing was a presidential roast. add stephen colbert (bless his heart) to the list of people bush has on the bankroll.

Why on earth would bush pay to get roasted? Just by choosing stephen colbert it seems the people in charge must not have expected him to be listing w's praises. But they paid to have him go uncomfortably over the top? I guess they got to try to get some approval rating points somehow.

"barely worth watching" Man, I thought that thing at the end was hilarious. Not so much on its own merit, but the fact that these hundreds or thousands of the planet's most "important" people had to sit through some 10 minutes of chase scene with old lady is very funny to me.
