Last weekend I broke my fast on all things alcoholic. During my long hangover, as I was trying to inspire myself to go back to being an awful teacher living in a tiny apartment with a flatulence problem, I purchased tickets to Ireland for February 22-28. It is a pretty good motivator because it gives you something cool to look forward to. I'm going to go there with a buddy of mine, but if anybody else wants to be down, the airfare is ridiculously cheap. We got round trip to Dublin for 328 and it would probably be like 348 from Chicago if anyone would want to get down. Then once we get there you can catch flights to all sorts of places for less than $20 one way. I'm thinking Germany, Barcelona, maybe Venice, probably not England (expensive) or Paris (unless I want to make fun of their accent). Let me know if you have any ideas... and if you want to be down, go ahead and go to Aer Lingus and get er done.
