Teaching students about the concept of fractional exponent and how they relate to the square root symbol, also called the radical. I know this because for the past 2 weeks I've been planing out my entire years curriculum, which feels really weird. I doubt that if had any other job I would have sat down and planned this hard. I know that when the first round of fights break out I might hate teaching, but right now I'm glad that in order to be a good teacher I am forced into becoming a better and more organized person.
Now this wasn't easy, I had to spend a whole week, basically, spending every free hour infront of my computer. In fighting the urge to procrastinate I've found a new little hobby, looking for rap on you tube. First I found this one, because my kids like cam'ron. I got to admit, its pretty watchable if only because he epitomizes everything that rap has become so well, he is like a caricature of himself

i wish thes 1 wasn't so earnest onstage... what i like about his style is that it seems to come easy, like he's just sitting around and can't even help that it comes out--i never like it when rappers that aren't normally all hype turn that way live--blackalicious doesn't do it, from what i've seen mos doesn't, and lo definitely doesn't, not where he isn't supposed to be a little more worked up than usual.
